About Jessica

General Bio

Jessica Pena has been blogging about self-love, emotional healing, and her mindful lifestyle since 2014. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as an infant and spent her teen years overcoming child abuse and neglect while managing her condition.

Despite what she’s been through, Jessica is a self-proclaimed gigglebox and her community often refers to her as a ray of sunshine! She is resilient and values love and kindness above all in life. When she’s not blogging, she’s growing her social media management agency, Revived Socials, and enjoying life with her husband and their three rescue dogs.

Cystic Fibrosis Emphasis

Jessica was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 3 months old after a nurse kissed her forehead and noticed she tasted salty! (A common symptom of CF.) Despite growing up with a chronic illness and in a neglectful home environment, Jessica has never let Cystic Fibrosis get her down.

A fighter, Jessica made changes to her diet and lifestyle as early as 14 years old in order to protect and preserve her health- turning to a vegetarian diet with exercise, a strong focus on mental health, and stress management. Today, Jessica participates actively in the Cystic Fibrosis community through her encouraging Instagram account and CF related blog posts- her most popular post relates how she came to terms with the shorter life expectancy for those with her condition at just 15 years old.
